1. Filling out your application online on Visa On Web

You can start the application process for your visa D on Visa On Web. Via this link you will register as a new user*, fill out your application form online and submit it electronically. You do not need to make an appointment.

Note the following :
When registering as a new user you will need to create a password. Your password should be a combination of letters and numbers with at least one capital letter and at least one symbol (#,@,$,*,%,etc.).

2. No appointment needed

You do not need to present yourself to the Embassy in person to apply, but you need to send us everything via a trusted courier service (DHL, Fedex…).

3. Sending and collecting documents

All requested documents need to be sent to us via courier service (DHL, FedEx…). This includes, along with the required documents :

• your passport,
• your proof of payment,
• your application form printed, dated and signed.

Please always provide a prepaid return airwaybill.

4. If you are applying for more than one person - group application

If you send us more than one visa application at the same time, please ensure that :

1. You send us a full application (with every document requested) for every applicant. This means that even if the same document is valid for more than one applicant, every application needs a proper copy of it.
2. Each application is packaged separately (one envelope per applicant, containing the full application of that person, with all the requested documents).

⚠ Should these instructions not be respected, we will be unable to process your applications as we are not responsible for organizing documents per applicant.

Please follow these instructions in detail.

If you do not follow the instructions we may not be able to treat your application, your application may be delayed severely or we may send you back your application untreated. 

5. Required documents for a visa D application

Which documents do you need to submit ? Below you will find the list of documents required depending on your type of application :

If, after reading all the information on our website, you cannot find the information you need, please send us a clear email with your information so we can best guide you (kingston@ diplobel.fed.be).

Due to the high volume of e-mails received each day, if the visa information you require is provided on our website, you will not receive an answer to your e-mail. Only e-mails requesting visa information that is not detailed on the website, or regarding different matters, will be answered within 5 working days.

Information regarding visa will not be given over the phone, unless otherwise instructed by e-mail, as e-mail exchanges allow us to better process information requests.

For security reasons, mails without messages (with attachments only) are deleted without being read.
